All candidates admitted to the programme will receive a full tuition scholarship and fees waiver plus a living allowance (stipend) to cover the cost of living for up to 5 years of study. The scholarship and waiver covers tuition fees of 30,000 € per year for years one and two, and 5,000 € per year after admission to candidacy until graduation. Thus, if accepted to INSEAD, you will be automatically offered this full tuition scholarship. However, if you are also able to secure external funding for your studies, INSEAD will provide you with additional complementary funding, so it is always recommended that you seek external support to increase your overall award.
In addition to the PhD Scholarship, admitted candidates are also offered a living allowance (stipend), based on local cost, to cover living expenses during the programme. Currently, this stipend ranges between 18,780 € and 23,880 € for a full year of study in Fontainebleau and 44,000 SGD and 60,000 SGD for a full year of study in Singapore (variation according to family composition: single, married, married with children). This generous benefit is available to our PhD students during the first five years of study, and may be renewed annually contingent upon satisfactory progress in the programme. Visiting students, however, are not eligible for our scholarship and stipend and will be required to pay for any courses attended.
